In your role, you will partner/strategize with the hiring managers to acquire talent and educate/train hiring managers on how to interview and acquire talent.
Using your skills, you will develop advertisements, job postings, build applicant sources by networking and maintaining relationships with key candidate/communities for short and/or long-term opportunities.

You will provide a great candidate experience through ongoing communication by providing applicants information about, job duties, working conditions, pay, benefits and promotional opportunities. You will maintain applicant tracking information and other pertinent recruitment and selection information as well as actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.

Schedule: 9/80 Monday through Friday /Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday. Start times are no earlier than 6 am and end times are no later than 6 pm.

Hybrid: Metropolitan’s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. In addition, a telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and once completed and implemented, will provide final direction on the hybrid schedule.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience; or two years as a MWD Human Resources Analyst II.

Relevant Experience is defined as: Full lifecycle recruiting.

This classification performs work that requires maintaining confidentiality and is routinely privy to matters that either involves confidential information, sensitive personnel issues, or exposure to confidential and sensitive strategic corporate information.

Desirable Experience: Public Sector full life cycle recruiting.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
