Under the general direction of the SSM II of the Bureau of Firearms (BOF) Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) Program, the SSM I is responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating the activities of the CCW Background Team 2. The SSM I provides supervision and guidance to analytical, technical and clerical staff responsible for conducting background eligibility checks, data entry, and processing mail.

Working ConditionsDOJ has temporarily adopted telework for employees who can effectively perform their essential work functions remotely. A hybrid schedule may be allowed after successful completion of the first probationary period. All telework schedules are based on current conditions and will be re-evaluated as conditions change.
