Job Summary

Starting Salary:
Plumber I: $18.58 - $23.69 hourly depending on experience
Plumber II: $19.70 - $25.11 hourly depending on experience

Job Description:

Performs technical and skilled plumbing work with responsibility for repairing, servicing, and installing water and sewer lines, water heating systems, Rest room and kitchen fixtures, clearing sewer lines and installing and repairing drinking fountains. Work is performed under the supervision of a trades supervisor and reviewed while in progress and upon completion through inspection, observation, and results obtained.

Minimum Qualifications:

PLUMBER I: High school graduate with two (2) years plumbing experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida driver license required.

PLUMBER II: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and four (4) years plumbing experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Florida Journey Level Plumbing License required for hire/promotion to Plumber II.

  • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
