Job Description and Duties

Join the team of the Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse (DMFEA) and serve as the Personnel Liaison between the Division and the Office of Human Resources (OHR).

In coordination with and under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent is responsible for independently maintaining accurate documentation to support Federal grant fiscal accountability and grant compliance as it relates to personnel transactions, to support the Unit’s budgetary recertification, budgetary requests, funding estimates, budgetary projections, and mandatory personnel budgetary analyses. The incumbent analyzes, interprets, and applies complex federal and state laws and regulations, state policies, and national public policies to ensure federal grant compliance. The incumbent: regularly performs complex analyses and interpretation of policies, regulations, and labor laws related to personnel matters for the Division; provides analytical support, advice, and problem-resolution to the Unit’s executive management regarding personnel matters; researches and makes recommendations related to recruitment, hiring, position control, and other personnel services.
