Oversite and monitoring of a $26 million utility budget, ensuring data is accurately entered into the utility portal for trending and monitoring usage.

Monitor, review, and implement energy conservation measures across all facilities within the Department of Corrections

Directs and/or assists in the planning, development, and administration of projects depending on the degree of technical onsite assistance needed of projects that address maintenance and repair, or capital improvement projects to the physical assets.

Minimum Qualifications:

Five or more years of semi-skilled or higher level experience in trades, building maintenance, or construction, and one or more years of supervisory experience within the listed fields

Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly, which is provided to employees with shifts that begin on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am, and who work at a 24/7 worksite (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center), or whose work requires regular visits to these locations. If selected for interview, eligibility may be discussed at that time with the hiring manager.

The Department of Corrections is the only State agency that currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of service up to 20 years.
