Job Summary

Performs professional and administrative work assisting in the development and administration of compensation policies and programs for executive, managerial, professional, technical, clerical, and trade jobs. Assists in evaluating existing policies and procedures relative to pay, career ladders, salary adjustments, merit programs, etc. Designs and conducts research. Recommends changes to pay delivery systems to best attract, motivate, and retain employees while containing costs. Assists with job audits. Analyzes and evaluates jobs. Ensures compliance with laws and regulations that impact pay programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field and one (1) year of professional human resources experience. Prior experience in compensation (including the development and administration of compensation programs, job analysis, job evaluation methods, performance appraisal, and various analytical and statistical techniques); or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Skill in the use of Human Resource Information Systems (such as Workday or PeopleSoft) and Microsoft business applications required. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation a plus.

  • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
