Job Description

T his full time position will be located at 112 Plaza Drive, Sikeston, MO 63801. Regular work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday off. Some travel to Poplar Bluff is required.

* Audit of financial documents for accuracy, including but not limited to billing and invoices.

* Accounts Receivable for Individualized Supported Living (ISL) program.

* Accounts Payable for ISL program (general revenue, consumer funds, vendor, contract payments, service maintenance agreements, Fleet wave payments).

* Management of consumer benefits, including Medicaid eligibility, social security funds, ABLE accounts, burial plans, other insurance, food stamps, and other financial benefits.

* Complete all facility and consumer Procurement needs for ISL program.

* Tracking of ISL billing exceptions for annual review.

* Participation in internal and external audit requests.

* Training of ISL staff on fiscal processes, including client funds, fleet, and purchase orders.

* Fixed asset and inventory tracking for ISL program.

* Complete all assigned financial assessments for consumers as applicable.

* Maintain clear understanding of current SSA/SSI guidelines, Medicaid requirements, and DMH policies and procedures.

* Proficient in MO Buys, MOVERS, CIMOR and other programs utilized by DMH for billing and financial transactions.

Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of experience and/or appropriate certifications. (Substitutions may be allowed).

Preferred Qualifications

* Competency in Microsoft Office programs.

* Understanding of general accounting processes.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks with minimal to no error.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from different backgrounds, educational levels and experiences.

* Ability to identify and implement time management strategies in job responsibilities.
