Job Announcement The City of Chandler Recreation Division is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining the team as a
Recreation Assistant - Adult Sports Program. This is a temporary part-time position. The work hours for this position are 10-15 hours per week. Weeknights and weekends. The location will vary between Snedigar Sportsplex, Tumbleweed Recreation Center, Folley Park, or Hamilton High School.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 5:30pm - 11pm
Saturdays - 2pm - 11m
Sundays - 12:30pm - 10pm

Who we are The City of Chandler Adult Sports program operates out of multiple facilities and offers 3 seasons out of the year. We work hard to create enjoyable and memorable recreational-based leagues for adults ages 16 and older. Our innovative team delivers quality Community Services in support of the City of Chandler's Mission and Values.
Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for sports and the ability to work independently. We are looking for a Temp Recreation Assistant who will plan and assist with the supervision of adult sports leagues and facility site supervision. Ideal applicants will have general experience with sports fields and facility supervision, communicate with league participants and league coordinator, and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Minimum Qualifications - Some High School; and
- 1 year of experience in a recreation environment; and
- A First Aid/CPR Certification, depending on assignment; and
- A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desirable Qualifications - 2 years of experience working or volunteering at special events.
