Yavapai County is seeking a Physician Assistant to fill an immediate opening at our Community Health Center. The ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with skills that create a workplace environment that fosters open communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

Yavapai County is located in the beautiful region of North Central Arizona. The County is one of the four original Arizona counties formed in 1864. Named after the Yavapai Tribe, whose name means the “people of the sun,” the County is just north of Phoenix and about 60 miles south of the Grand Canyon, featuring some of the most spectacular natural beauty in the American West. The perfect weather provides an average temperature of 70 degrees, with four beautiful and distinct seasons with breathtaking landscapes complete with granite mountains, lakes, and rolling meadows.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and licensed in the State of Arizona by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants.

Experience:
No experience necessary.

Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of a current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona. Current Arizona DEA Certificate and Basic Life Support.

Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
Must possess a current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
