This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) providing support to one or more state agencies.

What you’ll do: - Provide overall planning, coordination, and oversight of all activities for assigned projects
- Lead projects through the entire Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Work effectively with customers including agency staff, business analysts, Application Development, and other ITSD functional areas to complete projects on time and within budget
- Project status reporting
- Contract Management for vendor-engaged projects
- May act as Scrum Master or Scrum Coach on assigned projects
- Assist the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Directors, and/or Managers with planning and direction
All you need for success:Knowledge of the following is desired:
- Project Management methodologies and best practices
- Scrum fundamentals; Scrum Master Certification is preferred
- Business Analysis
- Concepts, practices, and procedures within the SDLC
Key skills and abilities for success are:
- Excellent Communication, Leadership, Organization, Conflict Resolution, and Critical Thinking
- Planning and organizing projects ensuring project deadlines are met
- Managing projects from conception to implementation
- Informed and effective decision-making
- Ability to collaborate with professional staff and stakeholders
- Ability to lead a team, provide direction, and take initiative
Strengths in Negotiation, Lean and Strategic Thinking, Building Strong Partnerships and Relationship Building, and the ability to develop productive, team-oriented relationships are also beneficial. Knowledge of Scrum according to Scrum.org’s Scrum Guide is also beneficial.
