ABOUT THE POSITION The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Information Technology Security Administrator position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Working as backup for the OT Department Systems Administrator to assure systems are properly secured, configured, maintained, updated, documented, and backed-up.
- Providing security and control measures across multiple platforms (e.g. enterprise accessible servers, production servers, network, Internet/Intranet, end-user systems, and devices.
- Monitoring access and use of Operational Technology systems and equipment; Implement ing, maintain ing, and monitoring logging/tracking mechanisms for intrusion detection, and keeping a current inventory of all connected devices.
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining security and Operational Technology (OT) systems recovery policies and procedures.
- Providing lead direction with other Operational Technology staff and coordination with Information Technology staff assuring both functional and secure OT systems.
- Providing management with a clear view of security threats, challenges, and solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or related field AND three (3) years full-time professional level experience in computer security administration, including contingency planning, preferably in a large mainframe multiprocessing environment. Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the "Education" and "Work Experience" sections of the application. Working Conditions: Work extended shifts or be called back in emergency situations.
Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.
