- Reviews and coordinates airport layout plans, airspace obstruction studies, environmental documentation, and land acquisition for the state aviation program.
- Conducts on-site airport safety inspections and acts as a subject matter expert to assist airports in conforming to Federal Aviation Administration standards.
- Reviews grant applications for completeness, accuracy, plan compliance, methodology, and feasibility; solicits grant applications.
- Assists in the development of procedures, standards, and criteria to establish eligibility for multimodal operations and transportation programs; provides technical assistance to plan, implement, and operate programs and related systems.
- Communicates with consultants and airport sponsors to provide guidance on requirements and procedures for multimodal projects and development of capital improvement plans at airports.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Planning, Public Administration, or related field.
