Pay: - Hourly: $43.00
- Annual: $89,435.02
Examples of Work: - Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate the nursing in-service and training program under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DNS)
- Work in collaboration with DNS and Unit Manager to provide outcome-focused and continuing education
- Coordinate mandated and in-service training for all team members
- Orient new hire orientation and serve as mentor for first 30 days
- Conduct/coordinate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and CPR training
- Maintain all training records
- Apply principles of adult learning and use audio-visual equipment as needed
- Perform clinical nursing procedures according to acceptable standards of practice
Qualifications: - Current licensure from Missouri Board of Nursing, in good standing, as a:
- Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience and
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility required within past 5 years
- Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor
