- Collects data for field, bridge and roadside maintenance projects.
- May coordinate supply and material movement within the district.
- Collects data from vendors, contractors, and governmental agencies for operations in assigned areas.
- Verifies and processes payments to vendors, political subdivisions, and contractors.
- Purchases materials, parts, equipment and supplies within predetermined limits; prepares and processes purchase orders by determining product specifications, searching for vendors, and monitoring vendor contracts for accuracy of delivered goods.
- Maintains databases and spreadsheets related to fleet management, facilities management, procurement, and/or equipment repair.
- Supports the research of vendors and products to locate appropriate commodities and services.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement and no air brake restriction.
Special Working Conditions: - Job requires exposure to physical hazards, health and safety risks, and/or adverse or otherwise undesirable characteristics in the environment.
- Job may require operation of vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials.
