Part-time position available with the Parks & Recreation Department, Loose Park located at 5200 Wornall Rd
Salary Range: $19.27-$29.39/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Works in adverse weather conditions performing landscaping and maintenance work at Loose Park.
- Participates in collection of trash and routine grounds keeping and building maintenance activity.
- Operates trimmers, mowers, and chainsaws for cutting up tree branches and limbs.
- Waters and cares for plant material.
- Applies herbicides, pesticides, clean and maintain bathrooms.
- Participates in snow removal and related duties as required.
- Receives work assignments through oral and written instructions and works with a group or complete assignments on own.
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school graduation OR 6 months of experience in general labor. May be required to possess a valid state-issued driver's license in accordance with City of KCMO policies. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City.
Preference given for horticulture experience.
