We are recruiting to fill a Behavioral Health Principal Management Analyst II position to assist with system development to connect individuals charged with crimes and with complex mental health needs with critical recovery services and effective interventions to meet their mental health needs and lessen their risk of repeat crime.

  • Facilitates collaboration, communication and timely responses between criminal justice entities and behavioral health systems to improve access to mental health services, deflect and defer individuals from court involvement, reduce incarceration time and enhance continuity of care.
  • Assists courts in identifying areas of need and acts as a liaison to community and statewide resources to develop plans to expand available services to participants in the community.
  • Coordinates with Court Services Manager or Director level positions within and external to the Missouri Judiciary for work.
  • Makes recommendations for team development, training sessions and overall program planning and development.
  • Facilitates mental wellness programs and initiatives for employees as directed.


Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management and 4 years of professional experience in managing behavioral or mental health programs, including experience with the criminal justice system or in the delivery of behavioral or mental health treatment services.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of behavioral health conditions and treatments.
  • Thorough knowledge of the operation of local and state court and behavioral health systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of the general rules and regulations of the judicial system.
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively both orally and in writing.
