Senior Regulatory Inspector

DWC/Self-Insurance

Annual Salary: $44,768

Self-Insurance Unit Mission Statement:“To serve as an underwriter to the Self-Insurers in the State of Missouri while providing support to fulfill their obligations to self-insure in the State of Missouri.”

  • In preparation for claims audits, compile case information and statistical data relevant to the claim audit.
  • Analyze and compare data from the self-insured or third-party administrator to the Division’s records.
  • Transfer data into regulatory Word documents to be used for the audit
  • Compile statistics from audit review
  • Enter data into and export data out of the Division’s computer
  • Correspond and communicate with self-insureds and third-party
  • Assist the unit’s Regulatory Auditors with the preliminary processing of claim
  • Independently differentiate, analyze, and compile data to create support documentation for the unit’s Regulatory Auditors.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience within the Division of Workers’ Compensation Case File Management Unit; EDI Reporting or investigating medical only claims for a workers compensation carrier or third-party administrator.
