The City of Fresno is currently recruiting for a Property Specialist II. Under supervision, the incumbent performs specialized work in the administration and analysis of property management. Duties include preparing requests for proposals, qualifications, or expressions of interest, lease documents, permits, agreements, and contracts within the framework of existing property management policies and procedures; performing research, developing, and making recommendations in changes and additions to policies and procedures as they affect new and existing tenants; and coordinating contract provisions (including leases, licenses, permits, temporary use permits, etc.) with other departments and City representatives affected by leasing activities. THE POSITION This class specification describes a two-level class series located in the Office of the Treasurer-Tax Collector. Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Specialists, under varying levels of supervision, will have close contact with the public, both by telephone and in person, answering questions related to unsecured and secured property taxes, business license taxes, utility users’ taxes, and hotel and lodging taxes.
