Starting Salaries:
Capital Improvement Project Manager I $36.78 - 46.89 per hour Capital Improvement Project Manager II $40.24 - $51.31 per hour

Nature of Work:
Seeking a well-versed project manager with experience managing and executing work involving complex municipal public works projects. Expertise to develop, manage and execute work on projects to ensure successful project completion. Manage and execute the design and construction of Stormwater projects. Review scope, schedule and budgets from consultants. Help facilitate related decision making and solve complex problems. Lead project team in planning and/or designing of major stormwater infrastructure using ICPR and recent construction plan development. Coordinate meetings and workshops. Supervise and oversee the work of consultants, architects, and engineers. F.E. (Fundamental of Engineering) is acceptable

Minimum Requirements

Capital Improvement Project Manager I
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and four (4) or more years experience in the area of design and project management; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Engineering Intern Certification required. A valid Florida Driver's License is required.

Capital Improvement Project Manager II
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with four or more years’ experience in the area of design and project management; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Responsible for construction projects with total worth of $60 million dollars or more. Some supervisory experience in construction required. Valid Professional Engineer license required. Valid Florida driver’s license required.
