What you’ll do:Center for Behavioral Medicine is looking for a Recreation/Music Therapist Supervisor will be part of an interdisciplinary team working with individuals who have been court ordered to the Department of Mental Health for inpatient psychiatric treatment, with the goal of restoring the individual’s competency to proceed in their legal case. The Recreation/Music Therapist Supervisor will assess, plan, develop, direct and coordinate therapeutic groups and activities. Provide competency education services. Consults with staff from other disciplines to integrate recreational and/or music therapy into the overall treatment program; monitors groups and activities to ensure conformance to patient and program objectives.
Additionally, the Recreation/Music Therapist Supervisor will assist with hiring, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.

All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Certification preferred, but not required.
