If you like to tackle new challenges, this may be the role for you! Our Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is seeking a team lead to oversee our Desktop Management Team. This team lead will directly supervise eleven staff. The team lead will be responsible for coordinating and implementing operational efficiencies within ITSD. The successful candidate will need to be a significant contributor from the beginning.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting Client Engagement Services (CES).

  • Supervise and provide technical leadership to the Desktop Management team.
  • Monitor/supervise/prioritize staff's workloads.
  • Manage the configuration scope of MECM.
  • Work in conjunction with other ITSD functional teams.
  • Monitor help desk tickets.
  • Effectively communicate by telephone, email, and in person with customers.
  • The successful candidate may also perform related duties, not listed, as needed or assigned.


  • Technical troubleshooting skills with in-depth knowledge of Windows OS.
  • Demonstrate Knowledge and experience of software automation tools including, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory and GPO's.
  • Computer Imaging.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop staff’s technical skills.
  • Ability to monitor/supervise/prioritize supervised staff's workloads. Identify help desk ticket trends and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • BS in Computer Science or a similar field or sufficient comparable relevant experience in lieu.
  • Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
