Specialist Poison Information Amarillo 36841BR Position Description Provides professional and technical assistance regarding poison information and potential poisoning exposures. Major/Essential Functions This position is on-site only. A remote schedule will not be available. This position will perform telephone triage for poison-related calls from both the public and health care providers/hospitals and provide treatment recommendations consistent with current guidelines and medical evidence. Initial one-on-one training will be provided for the first 6-12 weeks during the day/evening shift, after which the position will transition to evening/night shift.
