Job Description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Position is responsible for refereeing youth and adult sports activities. Directly Supervised by the Athletics/Fitness Coordinator or the Recreation Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must communicate sports rules clearly and calmly; ensure safety of players and fans; and report any and all disturbances to Athletics Supervisor. Responsible for reporting any damage to facility by renters; must be able to attend monthly staff meetings; provide feedback to the Athletics Supervisor on strong points and opportunities for improvement. Provide feedback to coaches and players during games; and resolve parent and coach issues and complaints.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS:

Necessary:
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED
