NATURE OF WORK:

Performs routine electrical inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs for mechanical equipment, lighting systems, and power equipment including alternate power components. Will serve as the house electrician for events as required. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through periodic inspections, direct observation, and condition of facilities.

Starting Salary: Electrician I $40,976.00 - $63,481.60 Electrician II $43,929.60 - $68,099.20

Minimum Requirements

ELECTRICIAN I: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate required and two (2) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Must have a home or cell phone. A valid Florida Driver's License is required prior to employment .

ELECTRICIAN II: High school graduate/GED required plus four (4) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess an Orange County Journey-level Electrician Competency card or equivalent credential . A valid Florida Driver's License is required prior to employment . Must be able reliably to be contacted in the event of an urgent work situation.

VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.

FOR ELECTRICIAN II, APPLICANTS SHOULD ATTACH VERIFIABLE DOCUMENTATION OF COMPETENCY CARD OR EQUIVALENT CREDENTIAL (SUCH AS MASTER ELECTRICIAN LICENSE, TRANSCRIPT FROM RECOGNIZED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, ETC.) TO THE ONLINE APPLICATION.
