Who We Are
Orlando, The City Beautiful Orlando Venues has been the proud home to Central Florida’s best in sports and entertainment since its inception in 1989. The dynamic City of Orlando department operates five distinct venues including KIA Center, Camping World Stadium, Tinker Field, Mennello Museum of American Art and Harry P. Leu Gardens. Between hosting high-profile sporting events like Wrestlemania, NFL Pro Bowl and NBA All-Star Weekend to big-name concerts and music festivals like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Harry Styles, Beyoncé and EDC Orlando to family shows, art exhibitions and countless other diverse offerings, our venues cater to residents and tourists alike year-round while enhancing the quality of life throughout our community.

NATURE OF WORK:Performs routine electrical inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs for mechanical equipment, lighting systems, and power equipment including alternate power components. Will serve as the house electrician for events as required. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through periodic inspections, direct observation, and condition of facilities.
Starting Salary:
Electrician I $40,976.00 - $63,481.60
Electrician II $43,929.60 - $68,099.20
Minimum Requirements
ELECTRICIAN I: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate
required and t
wo (2) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Must have a home or cell phone.
A valid Florida Driver's License is required prior to employment . ELECTRICIAN II: High school graduate/GED
required plus
four (4) years electrical experience required;
or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must possess an Orange County Journey-level Electrician Competency card or equivalent credential . A valid Florida
Driver's License is required prior to employment . Must be able reliably to be contacted in the event of an urgent work situation.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
FOR ELECTRICIAN II, APPLICANTS SHOULD ATTACH VERIFIABLE DOCUMENTATION OF COMPETENCY CARD OR EQUIVALENT CREDENTIAL (SUCH AS MASTER ELECTRICIAN LICENSE, TRANSCRIPT FROM RECOGNIZED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, ETC.) TO THE ONLINE APPLICATION.
