Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action. The position is with State Fire Marshal Division located in Carson City, Nevada. Incumbent supervises two Administrative Assistant 2 positions. The position is responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivables. Duties include but not limited to receiving, tracking, and depositing payments; processing invoices, reconciling credit card transactions; utilizing and posting transactions in the State ADVANTAGE system; facilitating payment arrangements; initiating refunds; and other related duties as assigned. Special Requirements A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant. This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
