Description The Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for actively analyzing the current real estate market and identifying prospective real property for acquisition to meet the strategic plan for Charleston County. Primary Duties: Oversee the operations and maintenance of four waste water treatment plants Serve as the acting supervisor in the Trade Supervisor's absence Schedule and assist in performing required testing of fire sprinkler systems Complete routine and emergency work orders that may include stop ups, frozen pipes, leaky pipes or plumbing fixtures, pump failures, etc. Operate wastewater treatment plants for Wake County as well as perform weekly maintenance and visits to designated facilities Conduct monthly reports that are required by state law Test eyewashes and safety showers as required by OSHA Perform daily preventive maintenance in all Wake County facilities including high and medium security detention facilities Assist with oversight of outside contractors that bid and perform related work Maintain information on all work orders Participate on the Physical Plant Safety Committee Work with the Safety Officer to maintain a safe working environment Perform seasonal winterization and de-winterization of County property About Our Team General Services Administration (GSA) manages Wake County owned and leased facilities, the Wake County fleet, provides criminal justice support, and supports a number of General Government business units.
