Position Description DEFINITION AND DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Under direct supervision, assists with the collection, recording, maintenance, and updating of property appraisal data; performs routine on-site inspections of real and personal property; assists with the preparation of the county assessment roll; Performs a variety of paraprofessional duties necessary to the appraisal of real or personal property for taxation purposes. This office establishes value for all taxable property and applies all legal exemptions to the property.
