Description The City of San Clemente is currently recruiting for a Deputy Public Works Director. San Clemente is a vibrant outdoor community making it a great place to live, work and play. Serves as liaison between the Department of Public Works and other departments, divisions, and outside agencies. The City of Tustin is seeking applicants for the position of Senior Transportation Analyst in the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer, this position performs advanced professional transportation planning and analysis work, oversees the planning of transportation projects, and supervises subordinate staff. Work requires creativity and resourcefulness to accomplish goals and objectives, and involves significant interaction with other City staff, consultant/contractor personnel and other public agencies to facilitate the development and promotion of transportation projects/programs. Judgment is required both in interpreting established policies, goals and objectives, and in applying concepts, plans and strategies which may deviate from traditional methods and practices.
