Appointed by the City Council, the City Manager has responsibility for supervising government operations and implementing the policies adopted by the City Council. The City Manager oversees the City budget, personnel matters, and serves as the Council’s chief policy advisor. The Fiscal Year 2023-2024 adopted Operating Budget is $28.4 million (all funds), which is supported by $16.3 million in General Fund revenue. The City has a large Capital Improvement Program and total budget expenditures including Operating Budget and CIP is $35.4 million.
