Job Description and Duties The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will act as the lead, journey-level analyst in the support of the live scan infrastructure, policies and requirements. The AGPA will be responsible to independently perform associated duties and be the technical expert and lead analyst for the section in the oversight of the live scan processes. The AGPA will be responsible for evaluating the current live scan processes and working in concert with key stakeholders to develop strategic planning in the improvement and maintenance of the live scan processes. The AGPA is responsible for developing complex procedural and project documents, as well as coordinating and overseeing user and system acceptance testing efforts. The AGPA will work closely with the Hawkins Data Center (HDC) technical staff, other Department organizations, client user agencies and supporting vendors/contractors to ensure all business needs and features are addressed and to resolve any operational issues identified through routine operations or special projects. The AGPA will document current business requirements and future business needs to develop a strategic plan to resolve technical issues and improve the automated processes of the live scan lifecycle workflow, as well as, run routine and ad hoc reports of DOJ systems to identify errors and develop solutions and strategies to improve efficiencies. Under the direction of the Statewide Staff Training Manager/Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) provides training and support services for the California Conservation Corps (CCC) management and staff. The Training Coordinator is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, communicating, and responding to the routine and complex needs of management and staff based on Statewide training mandates, department program requirements, bargaining unit contracts, and related industries’ health and safety standards. To ensure the department’s compliance with Statewide training mandates, the incumbent is expected to monitor, analyze, and interpret the training needs of CCC Staff as required by legislation and the California Government Code. The incumbent will also maintain training records and transcripts for CCC staff in order to facilitate compliance with State, departmental, and related industry requirements (e.g., CalHR, SPB, OSHA, CalFire, US Forest Service, FEMA). The incumbent will prepare and deliver various training records in the event of an audit. The Training Coordinator is responsible for independently performing the routine and complex research, design, revision, and implementation of organizational development activities including but not limited to new employee onboarding, workforce and succession planning, internal database maintenance, internal chainsaw training program meetings, career development plans, the department’s Upward Mobility program, and leadership and mentorship programs. Job Description and Duties The Assessment Consultation Team (ACT) in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Human Resources is seeking a highly motivated Associate Personnel Analyst with expertise in the areas of human resources, candidate selection, and industrial/organizational psychology. The Assessment Consultant will use analytical skills to develop, validate, and administer innovative pre-employment hiring assessments for the various Divisions/Bureaus within the DOJ. The Assessments Consultant will regularly consult with DOJ hiring managers and stakeholders to provide expertise and assistance on selection processes, practices, and tools and must be able to facilitate conversation with others in a professional manner. They will develop various forms of selection tools and resources, including, interview materials, application screening matrices, interactive performance exercises, and online multiple-choice tests. Job Description and Duties The Assessment Consultation Team (ACT) in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Human Resources is seeking a highly motivated Associate Personnel Analyst with expertise in the areas of human resources, candidate selection, and industrial/organizational psychology. The Assessment Consultant will use analytical skills to develop, validate, and administer innovative pre-employment hiring assessments for the various Divisions/Bureaus within the DOJ. The Assessments Consultant will regularly consult with DOJ hiring managers and stakeholders to provide expertise and assistance on selection processes, practices, and tools and must be able to facilitate conversation with others in a professional manner. They will develop various forms of selection tools and resources, including, interview materials, application screening matrices, interactive performance exercises, and online multiple-choice tests. They will also assist the team’s Research Data Analysts and the Staff Services Manager I with post-assessment analyses of test performance data and will assist with data interpretation using Classical Test Theory and other descriptive and inferential statistics.
