The department currently consists of nearly 40 faculty, with about equal numbers of tenure-line and lecturers. With approximately 650 Political Science majors, the department is deeply committed to high quality undergraduate and graduate education, offering multiple degree programs and internship opportunities in the state capital. DEPARTMENT: Computer Science POSITION TITLE: Lecturer Pool - Computer Science POSITION DETAILS: Sacramento State's Computer Science Department is one of the oldest and largest computer science programs in the CSU system. Having educated computer professionals since 1969, our programs currently serve approximately 1600 major students. The Department also offers a variety of non-major courses to students who seek practical experience in the application of information technology, enabling individuals with a background in other areas to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter or advance in computer-related industries.
