For BUS 225, a JD from an accredited program with an emphasis in Business Law is required. Candidates must meet the criteria of Instructional Practitioner (IP) according to the Department of Business Administration's current faculty qualifications policy. For courses other than BUS 344, BUS 453, and BUS 225, successful candidates must also have had experience at the mid-management level or above in an organizational responsibility center for a minimum of five of the last six calendar years. Experience must be in at least one area of general management, human resource management, entrepreneurship, or leadership. Candidates for BUS 453 and BUS 454, in addition to a minimum requirement of a master's degree and IP (or higher) status, must have a minimum of 5 years formal, full-time experience in the Small Business area (especially in the finance area for BUS 454).
