The Director communicates and collaborates effectively with administrators, faculty, staff and students regarding academic accommodations for students with disabilities, the general needs of students with disabilities, maintains highly sensitive and confidential records (i.e., FERPA and HIPAA) and oversees specialized data entry and confidential reporting within the department and university systems (e.g., Clockwork, Common Management System, etc.), and administers departmental budgets. Serves as the primary campus point of contact on matters related academic accommodations in alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Office of Civil Rights.
