Development Plan Review Uses computer aided drafting techniques and procedures to prepare routine engineering plans for development projects; develops graphs, charts, and exhibits for presentations; writes specifications and property descriptions; reviews planning entitlement referrals and drafts conditions of approval; reviews public improvement plans and building plan check referrals for compliance with conditions of approval and City standards; calculates development fees and monitors trust accounts; updates City maps; and evaluates applications and issues encroachment permits. This is a full-time position for the Department of Motor Vehicles' (DMV) Motor Vehicle Information Technology Division (MVIT) with regular time required at headquarters in Carson City, Nevada. MVIT provides IT support for implementing business process improvements and systems to provide better customer service, streamline operations, comply with legislative mandates, and provide the ability to rapidly make changes. The incumbent will perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform at The DMV Platforms Engineer level, will be trained and/or required to carry out the following job duties: work on the Nevada DMV Transformation Effort (DTE), Salesforce/MuleSoft/AWS/Azure environment/Additional emerging software; to administer, manage, and configure platforms presentation layer, application layer and data layers. The DMV Platforms Engineer will be responsible to implement/maintain the Digital Platform components as it relates to Product Management, User Management, Security, Performance Management, Data Modeling, Patches, Fixes, and upgrade implementations. The DMV Platforms Engineer will collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Cyber-Security and applications team partners for effective operations and continuous improvement of DMV's Digital Platforms; support a DevOps Agile Development and Engineering-Based Methodologies; competently prioritize incident resolution, problem management, and proactively monitor the platform performance based on set key performance indicators.
