Job Summary: Under general direction of the Executive Director of Risk Management, the Workers’ Compensation & Loss Control Program Manager exercises independent judgement and manages California State University San Bernardino workers’ compensation program, temporary return to work, and loss control programs under the authority of the California State University Risk Management Authority (CSURMA) Joint Powers entity and system-wide risk management and in close coordination with CSUSB’s Third Party Administrator, Human Resources and the Environmental Health and Safety Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Workers’ Compensation Program Administration Manages the daily operations of the CSUSB workers’ compensation program in accordance with the self-insurance CSURMA program.
