Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Department Overview [ Department website ] The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Fresno represents the very best that the university has to provide. We offer four rigorous, high quality degree programs (B.A. Chemistry, B.S. Chemistry, B.S. Biochemistry and M.S. Chemistry) that prepare students for careers in research, industry and education, as well as preparing students for admission to Ph.D., medical, pharmacy, dentistry and osteopathic medicine programs. Position Summary [ Course Catalog link ] The successful applicant may teach chemistry and biochemistry, as well as high enrollment general education courses for the department. We are interested in candidates who are qualified to teach lecture and laboratory using high impact practices in the following areas that may become available: general chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, courses as the interface of chemistry and biochemistry. Anticipated Semester The temporary faculty pool is continuously open, and positions are filled as needed, based on student enrollment and funding.
