Gives tours of park facilities and nature centers to groups by reservation or on an appointment basis. Arranges for equipment to be checked out by participants, checks their condition upon return, and properly stores them. Performs basic housekeeping tasks such as arranging chairs, putting supplies away, wiping down tables, chairs, toys and equipment. Monitors and closing of park facilities and amenities as needed. Attends and participates in in-service training programs, workshops, and meetings to enhance job performance skills. Performs routine public contact work, staff park entrance stations, provide information to the public, keep facilities clean and orderly, uses various tools and drive light vehicles. Visually check boats prior to launching at county lakes to determine if they meet sanitation and safety standards as needed. Performs related duties, as assigned.
