DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS The Senior Recreation Leader is an Entry level classification in the Community Services series. The employee assists in conducting Community Services program activities in area(s) of assignment. May be assigned to work directly with the public. The Recreation Assistant, Recreation Leader, and Senior Recreation Leader are distinguished from one another by the level of responsibility assumed and the complexity of duties assigned.
