Brief Description of Duties The Department of Art and Art History at San José State University is actively seeking part-time faculty members for the studio/seminar lecturer position. The selected individuals will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in studio art and theories of art education to students in the BA Art-Preparation for Teaching major, as well as to others interested in art education. Course materials, teaching strategies, and advisement should address the diverse needs of our student population, which includes varying ages, cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, primary languages, and academic preparation levels.
