The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is offering an excellent career opportunity to fill one (1) Assistant Diagnostic Imaging Manager position located in the Health Services - Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) in Martinez, CA.

The Contra Costa Health Services CCRMC houses the Diagnostic Imaging Department which provides diagnostic services (routine and specialized) and interpretation for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages .

We are looking for someone who is able to manage the daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department including supervision and coordinating the daily schedule to promote a timely and efficient operation for the care and treatment of patients 24/7. We are looking for someone who is: Organized. You will be planning staff assignments, schedules and patient appointments.Knowledgeable. You will need exceptional understanding of imaging department processes, PRIME and measurement matrix.Attentive to detail. You will be reviewing staff assignments and ensuring compliance with regulations.Communicative! You will be conveying information both written and orally to staff and members of the public.

Minimum Qualifications
Certificate Required: Possess and maintain a valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate issued by the State of California Department of Public Health to perform procedures in the practice of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology AND certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND possession of a valid Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the California Department of Public Health AND Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by the American Red Cross.

Experience: Five (5) years of full-time experience as a diagnostic imaging technologist, at least one (1) year of which was in an acute care hospital. Two (2) years of the required experience must have been in a supervisory or lead capacity.
Selection Process

CONVICTION HISTORY

After you receive a conditional job offer, you will be fingerprinted, and your fingerprints will be sent to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The resulting report of your conviction history (if any) will be used to determine whether the nature of your conviction conflicts with the specific duties and responsibilities of the job for which you have received a conditional job offer. If a conflict exists, you will be asked to present any evidence of rehabilitation that may mitigate the conflict, except when federal or state regulations bar employment in specific circumstances. DISASTER SERVICE WORKER

All Contra Costa County employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law. Employment with the County requires the affirmation of a loyalty oath to this effect. Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker-related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.
