Under the limited supervision and direction of the Deputy Director of Public Works Operations or other supervisory personnel, the incumbent will perform activities and provide services related to Environmental Programs to the divisions within the Public Works Department. This position is responsible for reviewing, implementing and coordinating environmental regulatory compliance programs and energy conservation programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (include but are not limited to the following) Oversees and manages the annual Municipal Regional Permit (MRP), compliance auditing, management of inspection programs, preparation of reports, and coordination with regional and state agencies.
