This position will work under the supervision of the Staff Park and Recreation Specialist and the lead of an Associate Landscape Architect. This position performs statewide inventory and assessment of state park facilities as part of the California State Parks inventory process. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to inventory facilities at all the parks within the State Park System. The work schedule will be eight day working shifts, consisting of 10-hour workdays, Wednesday to Wednesday, with six days off between shifts. This position requires you to work nights, weekends, and odd hours and overtime. This position will also spike camp at campgrounds and remote locations throughout the State. Spike camping will be required every night for all work shifts. This position must report to Sacramento, CA at the beginning of each scheduled spike to pick up equipment and gear.
