POSITION PURPOSE: Reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Capital & Facilities Management Services (CFMS), the Senior Director for Capital Planning, Design, and Construction (CPDC) is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Capital Planning, Design, and Construction department and the campus major and minor capital program administration. This includes providing strong leadership and strategic direction in serving as the university’s Construction Administrator, leading the department of CPDC, assisting the AVP in developing and supporting the Multi-Year Plan of the California State University (CSU), and ensuring accountabilities for all major and minor capital projects. The Senior Director is responsible for providing strong leadership for the Capital Planning, Design, and Construction department, both internal and as contracted with external vendors.
