Position Information The Sonoma County Regional Parks Department seeks an experienced, professional Park Acquisition Specialist. Starting salary up to $63.89/hour* depending upon experience. Reg ional Park s' Planning Division has an exciting opportunity focused on bringing new parks to the County. As the Park Acquisition Specialist, you will lead, collaborate, plan, and oversee the work of Regional Parks staff involved in the acquisition and/or appraisal of property; direct the preparation of appraisal reports, detailing the valuation of land and improvements to be acquired; negotiate with property owners for the acquisition or leasing of real property; and direct the gathering and analysis of data relating to property ownership, costs, site surveys, and related matters.
