A plant expansion introduced several new technologies designed to produce high quality effluent water and increase the plant's efficiency. The Wastewater Maintenance Mechanic I performs semi-skilled and skilled mechanical maintenance work while under the direction of the supervisor, senior maintenance mechanic and journey-level mechanic in the installation, maintenance, and repair of all heavy industrial and plant mechanical and electro-mechanical machinery in the Wastewater treatment plant and collections systems.
