Position Description Correctional Tech I: $18.95 - $23.05 Correctional Tech II: $20.92 - $25.42 Correctional Tech III: $23.66 - $28.75 We are recruiting to fill a current vacancy and to establish a list for future openings. Position Description Deputy District Attorney I: $37.52 - $45.59 Deputy District Attorney II: $43.65 - $53.04 Deputy District Attorney III: $50.51 - $61.41 Deputy District Attorney IV: $58.49 - $71.08 Under general supervision or direction, performs increasingly difficult professional legal work in the analysis, preparation and prosecution of criminal cases before the court in Calaveras County; and performs related duties as assigned. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Deputy District Attorney I is the entry level classification in this flexible series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform the less difficult and non-controversial assignments in the District Attorney's Office under the direction and guidance of the District Attorney and more senior attorneys. Incumbents normally advance to the higher level of Deputy District Attorney II after gaining experience, achieving proficiency and demonstrating the ability to perform tasks as assigned that meet the requirements for Deputy District Attorney II. Deputy District Attorney II is the journey level classification in this flexible series. Under general supervision, through formal and informal work review, incumbents perform a full range of assignments. Positions at this level are normally filled by advancement from the Deputy District Attorney I level. Job Summary This is one classification in a progressive series of Office Administration positions which focuses on a variety of administrative support and clerical functions including front desk/reception functions as assigned.
