Construction Inspectors are responsible for the inspection of a variety of construction projects for conformance with specifications, City ordinances and regulations. This position will work within the Construction Management Group in the Public Works Engineering Division. The position will provide inspection services for the capital improvement projects of the City's Public Works Department (the approximate average annual Capital Improvement budget is $30 million). The Public Works Engineering Division provides a unique opportunity for Construction Inspectors to work on a wide variety of complex capital improvement projects as they progress through their careers.
