Position Summary The Senior Program Administrator serves as a staff member in the Fowler College of Business. The position is responsible for growing non-credit executive and professional education by representing the college to corporate, community, and other key external partners, for establishing and building strategic partnerships and key relationships with corporate executives, business alumni, and industry professionals, and for developing and implementing an outreach strategy that encourages campus engagement for the benefit of the college and the business community. Education and Experience Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Key Qualifications Advanced degree in a business-related discipline is preferred. Eight to ten years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate and external relations, business development, sales & marketing, program administration, strategic planning, consulting, and employer recruiting and/or job development, in an academic or business environment is preferred. Significant understanding of business consulting and the ability to scope complex problems into manageable projects. Launching and administering professional or executive education programs. Ability to work some evening and weekend hours. Compensation and Benefits Starting salary upon appointment is not expected to exceed $8,333 per month.
