Sick Leave : 12 working days of sick leave annually with unlimited accumulation. Sick leave incentive : An employee is eligible to receive eight hours administrative leave if the leave balance equals at least one-half of the cumulative amount that the employee is eligible to accrue. Positions at the Forensic Specialist III and Forensic Specialist IV must have successfully completed Category III Peace Officer Standards Training (P.O.S.T.) at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. Per NAC 284.317, applicants must be at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment. The Examination Application Evaluation Exam The exam will consist of an application evaluation. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience. The most qualified applicants will be contacted by the hiring agency for interview. The hiring agency may require specific skills related testing as part of the interviewing process.
