Working independently under the general supervision of the Deputy Chief Information Officer in Technology Services, the Project Coordinator supports the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion of IT projects. This includes developing project requirements; identifying resources and stakeholders; evaluating project risk and impact; developing schedules and project plans; monitoring progress; coordinating project communication; and reporting project status to the campus leadership on technology related projects. The Project Coordinator will effectively collaborate with peers within the Project Management Office and contribute to the oversight and coordination of projects within all areas Technology Services. The position is key to the delivery of successful projects, initiatives, and services, ensuring the delivery is on-time and within budget. The Project Coordinator will also facilitate relationships with internal and external stakeholders and will use effective communication to ensure successful relationships and service delivery. All IT professionals protect confidentiality and integrity of data and electronic information from incidental, intentional or preventable misuse or loss to the University. All IT professionals will consider and implement standard practices and protocols to support digital accessibility best practices to support Executive Order 1111 and CSU ATI efforts. At the Information Technology Consultant - Career level, occasional travel, evening work, and weekend work will be expected.
